Ševčík, Op. 2, Part 1, No. 4 Kimberly’s creative spirit beautifully highlights her style and impact in the world of violin pedagogy. She has known and studied music her whole life, and I have had the privilege of witnessing her life-long dedication and drive- she is my sister! From her earliest years, Kimberly has loved music. She is a learner and explorer, and everything she learns and discovers, she distills into age-appropriate lessons for the enrichment of her students.
Her students adore her and flourish under her leadership and care. Kimberly’s most recent creative project, her app called Met-TREE-nome, is a gift to all musicians. She created and developed this app as a tool to help her students have a more engaging and fun experience with the metronome, especially in the Fiddle Rhythms and Fiddle Magic. Her rigorous training in her undergrad and graduate degrees and her application of the Violin Technique Method way of learning has allowed her to excel as the prime creator and CEO for this teaching tool.
She says, “My passion is to instruct each student in my studio using a holistic approach. In doing so, my desire is to educate the whole musician in body, soul, spirit and mind with precision and gentleness.”
Kimberly is a gifted online teacher and welcomes long-distance learners into her private studio, and she is also teaching locally from her hometown of Greenville, South Carolina.
