Rachel’s dedication to holistic teaching is experienced by every student she has in her studio, from the smallest children to adults. Her ability to break down complex violin techniques and learning sequences makes learning accessible and a positive learning environment for all of her students. She has extensive violin training, having studied and practiced music since her earliest years, and is an accomplished, in-demand violin teacher for musicians of all ages. 

Rachel masterfully integrates of all the Level 1 Violin Technique Method training into her curriculum, and she has a beautiful ability to tailor the lesson to the student’s need and ability level. She holds her standards high, and she also allows for each child to co-create a weekly plan that will help them thrive and accomplish their goals. She is kind and supportive and provides weekly opportunity for creativity and mastery in each lesson. 

She says, “My goal is to provide every student with the tools needed (technical, musical, and psychological) to become a thriving lifelong learner and artist. I do not teach through performance- or shame-based learning, but seek to inspire students to independent learning and discovery.” 

Rachel is a skilled online teacher and welcomes long-distance learners into her private studio. She is also teaching locally from her hometown of Hixson, Tennessee and currently enrolling new students.
