What is Violin Technique Coaching?

What if learning to play violin could unlock a better way to learn, a better path to mastery?

I am Dr. Stephanie Allen, and it is my absolute joy to guide students of all ages along the gentlest, most efficient path to mastery through the medium of music.  

I teach violin, but I specialize in facilitating independent learning for students by giving them the tools to problem-solve and structure time. This is learned through the gentle, holistic and sequenced teaching of the violin.

My students acquire the tools necessary for mastery in music literacy, efficiency strategies, and time-management. I help students become lifelong, independent learners and effective problem-solvers.

These skills help violinists radically improve as players as well as serve them in life far beyond the music studio. 

I also work one-on-one with violin teachers who are seeking to learn how to incorporate this philosophy, care, and sequenced technical regimen into their own studios, certifying them as Violin Technique Method Coaches, one level at a time.
